By Brooke: Happy 2020! What will this year hold for you? This year, you may be making some New Year’s resolutions. Lose weight, lose the boyfriend/girlfriend, don’t lose your mind the list goes on. Be a better manager, sister, brother, mother, daughter, son, wife, father, friend. Don’t forget, walk the dog, walk yourself, get fit, get a boyfriend/girlfriend. However, good the intentions are to stick to the resolution, the fact is that people seldom make it past January. How can the mind be changed to make the New Year’s Resolution stick? How can we make 2020 a year to remember?
Music and meditation can motivate and have been scientifically proven to improve the mind. As we, think so we are. Who do you want to be? You are who you tell yourself you are? “I’m fat, I’m lonely, I can’t.” But here is the thing, you think you can’t, but you can. You can by keeping focused on what you want. New neurotransmitters are made by keeping gentle focus throughout a meditation. Eg. Relax the neck and when the mind starts to wander gently bring it back to relaxing the neck and hence a new neurotransmitter is being born.
Meditation can be done without music. However the best music to play is one that is recorded in 432Hz. It does not matter if you know nothing about music tuning. You can google God’s Vibration or the Universal Vibration. Or listen to anything that adds up to 9 which is known as the Universal or God’s frequency. Before the war, orchestras used to tune their instruments to 432hz. Music is now universally tuned to 440Hz. The conspiracy theorists say that it was a plot by Hitler to cause chaos while he took over the world.
Listen for yourself and see if you feel the difference. There are some songs that are recorded by well-known artists in 432Hz.
Why would you want to listen and meditate with music tuned to 432Hz?
This vibration helps in general well being and spiritual growth. It is in tune with the universe and helps us focus without chaos. Try it out by googling the music and doing meditation with it.
First, listen to the music, then relax. Starting at the feet and moving up the body. Say to yourself eg. my toes are becoming relaxed, I feel them relaxing, they are relaxed. etc. Once you have reached the crown of your head, then say your New Year’s Resolution. eg. This year I am going to have fun with my soul mate. Say this as you visualize something that you and your soulmate will do together. Feel the happiness as you visualize, listen to a conversation you want to experience. Use as many senses as you can, visualization, hearing, feeling. Then finish with “2020 is my year. My resolution to eg. Get fit. I see happening, It is happening, It has happened, so be it”
Commit to doing this meditation every day for a few minutes. Let’s do this as a scientific experiment. Write to me every week for 9 weeks, so I can record your progress. Let’s make 2020 a year to remember.
