By Rani: Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold or similar material, highlighting the cracks instead of disguising them.
A long time ago, the Japanese practice of Kintsugi began. In ancient Japan, vases and cups were very popular and they made them in great beauty, but their fine craftsmanship made them delicate and easily broken. It is sad that many owners threw away those lovely pots, cups, and bowls. And with one thought a big idea came. Maybe we should repair them.
They began to repair their broken ceramics by mixing glue with gold dust. Now, every flaw was visible. Rather than hide what was broken, they displayed it. After all, the fact that it was broken doesn’t matter. Every broken object tells a story.
Like delicate objects built with fine craftsmanship, our spirits sometimes break. Just like Kintsugi, you can mend yourself back together again. In many cases, we are not broken by what someone did to us but how it made us react. This usually happens when we do something unkind to someone else. The chakras are filled with guilt. Negativity gradually develops from here. Ignoring this will result in denial and judgment toward others the longer it is ignored. After it has rooted itself and has not been let go for too long, it will turn into resentment and isolation.
Oftentimes, we try to deny our wrongdoings out of shame. No one is perfect. Almost all of us have lied, stolen, and cheated someone at least once. Feeling sorry for your mistakes and learning from them may mean that you are not as bad as you imagine. At the time, you were unable to see what you did as wrong due to a limited perspective. Those who don’t feel guilt after their actions are the ones who did them with malicious intent.
Optimism can be attained by rerouting stagnant energy within. You can do this by healing your wounds from within. Recognize all your wrongs with an open mind and an open heart. Do not let yourself fall into these toxic habits. Don’t be afraid to let your intuition lead you out of the darkest recesses of your mind. It will be a beacon to your mind when you let your heart light your way.
The mind can detect solutions only after it is allowed to process what happened. The mind cannot process what happened if we ignore the cracks. This stops people from understanding our story. As a result, we hide our true character from others out of fear of what they may think.
Allow Kintsugi to show you that there is beauty in all.
I also provide in-depth readings on your energy. As a Reiki Master, I have been taught how to tune into anyone’s chakras remotely. Using this method, I am able to provide you with clarity and guidance on how to manifest and attract what you desire into reality.
I can give you insight into your abilities based on your spirit if you come for a chat.
This article was inspired by a children’s book titled ‘Big Ideas for Curious Minds’ an introduction to philosophy.
Love and Light,
