By Toni: A women’s circle is a safe and sacred space for women to come together, use their voices, be heard and be seen. To support each other and be authentic and to help release negative energies that impact us in our daily lives.
Women throughout history have gathered in circles to empower each other and share wisdom. Such gatherings help women get in touch with their feminine strength and raise positive vibration. With politics, Corona and the daily rat race dividing us further every day, women need a positive community more now than ever.
If you are looking to hold space or create your own women’s circle or gathering or even if you are looking to attend a women’s circle here are some steps or advice to help guide you.
Firstly, each gathering should have a theme or topic. Many women circles are based around the moon or working with the moon. As this is an easy and powerful way, because as women we are already in sync with the moon. The new moon or a lunar moon is really powerful and the energy is more internal. It’s the dark moon all about mystery. Other good themes or topics could be goddesses, the womb, or the power of love.
Secondly, you need to find your tribe so don’t be shy at asking for guidance or help from other women. You don’t have to be an expert to hold space in your own women’s circle. It is really just about holding space and stepping into your own leadership and bringing other women together bonding and collaborating with other women who have something to share. You may even find a friend whom can assist with asana practice or guided meditation which can help root the circle more deeply.
Thirdly, setting a powerful intention. Meaning to allow each woman to speak her intention aloud this has a powerful healing impact and a positive empowering effect for the women gathered. By coming together to support and voice our intention is like sending out a big radio wave from each of us. This frequency then ripples out and others are touched by that. We are then able to spread more love and light… and to bring light is what we are here to do. It can be so uplifting and such a huge shift.
Fourthly, if you are looking at hosting a circle remember to include yourself be open and vulnerable. In many ways yes you are there to hold space, lead and guide but also part of this is to drop yourself into the circle. It is important to find that similar connection that same level of grounding with your sisterhood. A great way to do so is by showing your vulnerability.
Fifth, practice listening is so important you will hear voices and stories being spoken from other women which fosters empathy and helps us to see we are not alone. If we actively listen and slow down and be mindful, each
woman will feel like her voice is being heard.
Lastly, add Mudras for womb wisdom also a guided meditation or Yoga if you introduce meditation or yoga into your circle this will help women to tap into their unconscious thoughts. Ask a question a bridging question to have women search within themselves for answers. Once finished with the meditation open up the circle for discussion visions, feelings.
Also, enrich your circle by exploring others by attending other women circles in your area or attending workshops and classes.
I send you all much love and light and leave you with this quote:
“A Woman is the Full Circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.”
Love and Light,
