By Pascale: Three cards, with matching quotes and unsolicited advice to remember for 2022:
The Fool: on being you:
“I live in my own little world. But it’s ok, they know me here.”
Be you: you are enough and you are not beneath anyone. Don’t let anyone’s criticism get under your skin unless it is constructive criticism and… if it is, it can’t get under your skin because there is something to learn from it.
You can’t please everyone, never will, get used to it: be you, you will attract those who love you for who you are. Live your life as you and you only intend it to be.
Temperance: on balance:
“A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.”
Everything in moderation is the key here. Create a least-restrictive plan to stay as healthy as possible in 2022. Find the middle ground to remain stable and be mindful of your physical, mental and emotional energy. Most of us are all living through an endurance test presently that feels like a never ending marathon. Revisit history: for example, the true stories of prisoners of war who survived in horrendous, lonely conditions for years on end and made it out alive or re-watch “Cast Away”; this can help you find the necessary perspective over what you are going through. In the meantime, be grateful for the little things, until the bigger ones manifest or manifest back again into your life.
Strength: on courage:
“There comes a day when you realise turning the page is the best feeling in the world, because you realise there’s so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on.”
Be fearless: the past is the past, and the present is here to help you create your future. You have free will, you have choices: to think a good thought, to think a bad thought, to act on it, to let it pass. What will it be? If you tend to over think and remain indecisive, put your thoughts down on paper, it will help you act on them and manifest. “Everything you ever wanted is on the other side of fear.”
Let go. Learn to let go of what you can’t see or that is not obvious to you, of the shadows: why dwell on them? The more you anticipate what may or may not be, the more anxious you become. Is it worth it? No: “Worrying is using your imagination to create something you don’t want.” Move on and be present.
And finally, here is a happy, good fortune mantra for you to use for 2022 and for the rest of your life:
“All things I seek are now seeking me.”
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
