Customer Terms and Conditions

Life Com Limited trading as Lifereader ("Lifereader") welcomes you to join its community, allowing you (the "Customer") full access to the Customer sections of the website located at, and its associated sites (the "Site").

Lifereader provides the Site via its hosted platform to connect Customers with Readers through phone, online chat or email. Lifereader's Readers ("Readers") provide services to internet users searching for Astrology, Psychic insight and Life Coaching (the Services).

Access and use of the Customer sections of the Site are provided by Lifereader to the Customer on the condition that the Customer accepts the terms and conditions of this Agreement and by accessing or using the Customer sections of the Site the Customer agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

  1. Membership
    1. Where a person wishes to join Lifereader as a Customer he or she will be required to register as a Customer of Lifereader and provide all the requested details in the "[Register]" tab and details of a valid credit card.
    2. The Customer warrants that he or she:
      1. is over 18 years of age ;
      2. has provided current, complete and accurate information on the registration form (Customer Information);
      3. will update this Customer Information as required to keep it current, complete and accurate;
      4. will only register one account on the Site;
      5. will select a name to be used when he or she receives the Services through the Site (User Name);
      6. will keep confidential the password used by the Customer when using the Services;
      7. is responsible for all activities that occur through the use of the User Name;
      8. will notify Lifereader immediately if the Customer believes the User Name and password are no longer confidential so that Lifereader can cease relying on that password.
    3. The Customer Information is held in accordance with our Privacy Policy
    4. Lifereader may terminate a Customer's membership with or without cause at any time at its sole discretion.
  2. Transaction Process and Services
    1. The Services and information on the Site are provided for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, medical or any other sort of professional advice of any kind.
    2. Lifereader does not evaluate, provide, produce or control a Reader's Services or Advice Sessions. Lifereader does not endorse, recommend or verify any of the Services or Readers on the Site.
    3. Customers will select the Reader from whom they wish to receive advice. Where the Reader agrees to provide the Services Lifereader will provide the Customer and Reader with the option of an 0800 number service, a hosted phone line, chat through a hosted chat window or email advice through the Reader's Lifereader provided email address (Advice Session).
    4. The Customer may submit ratings in respect of Readers from whom they receive advice. Such ratings will be available to be viewed on the Site. Lifereader reserves the right to edit the ratings where they are threatening, malicious, obscene or otherwise inappropriate.
    5. Lifereader will perform occasional recording and monitoring of Advice Sessions in order to analyse and develop improvements to the Services and the Site.
  3. Pricing, Billing and Personal Account
    1. To use the Phone, Chat or Email services provided by the Site the Customer can pre-purchase credit in the amounts set out on the Site or can elect to pay on a 'pay as you go' basis. The Customer can choose to have their pre-purchased credit amount automatically replenished by the duration value amounts set out on the Site when an Advice Session exceeds the available credit pre-purchased. Where an Advice Session exceeds the credit pre-purchased the Advice Session will end.
    2. Email services will be debited from the Customer's Credit Card or from the Customer's pre purchased credit at the rate as agreed between the Customer and Reader. No pre purchase discount will apply.
    3. Prior to the commencement of all pay as you go Advice Sessions Lifereader will block sufficient funds on the Customer's credit card for a maximum 60 minute session plus the additional per minute fee should the Customer be using a cell phone. At the conclusion of the Advice Session Lifereader will process payment for the actual length of the Advice Session and the remainder of the blocked funds (if any) will be released to the Customer's credit card.
    4. All pre purchased credit and pay as you go charges to the Customer's credit card will be in the currency of the Customer's country of residence. Where the currency of the Customer's country of residence is not recognised by Lifereader the Customer will be charged in US dollars or Euros depending on the Customer's location.
    5. Advice Sessions conducted by phone or chat will be charged on a per minute basis as set out on the Site. GST and VAT may be included in this per minute amount where applicable.
    6. Lifereader's communications systems will be the sole determinant of amounts payable by the Customer and no communication will be entered into about disputed amounts payable
    7. Pre-purchased credit is valid for 18 months from the date of purchase. Where a Customer's account has not been accessed for more than 18 months the Customer will be deemed to have forfeited its account and any pre purchased credit will become the property of Lifereader.
  4. Refunds
    1. Consultation refund requests must be made by email transmission by the Customer to Such communications must be submitted within 72 hours of the Advice Session ending. Requests must clearly state the consultation date, Reader name and consultation fee. Consultation refunds can not exceed the equivalent value of a 15 minute consultation. Refunds for Special rate or discounted consultations are limited to the value of the special rate or discounted duration of the consultation. Refund requests are limited to one unsatisfactory consultation per month. Lifereader reserves the right to refund the Customer partially or in full and also to refuse a refund request. All Consultation Refunds are issued as pre-paid credit to the Customer account.
    2. Pre Purchased Credit refund requests must be made by email transmission by the Customer to Such communications must be submitted within 18 months of the purchase of Credit. Upon receipt of the Credit refund request email a refund back to the customers payment source will be actioned. The Credit refund amount will not include any bonus funds which may have been gifted to the customer with their credit purchase. The Credit refund amount will not include any Pre Purchased Credit which has already been applied to a Consultation unless a Consultation refund has been granted as per clause 4.1.
  5. Customer Rules of Conduct
    1. The Customer:
      1. Will comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement;
      2. acknowledges that the Customer is responsible for verifying the Reader's identification, qualifications and other information pertaining to the Reader;
      3. acknowledges that all contact between the Customer and Readers must be conducted through the Site and its communications framework;
      4. will not take any action to manipulate the integrity of the Customer feedback ratings;
      5. will not transmit though the Site or during any Advice Session anything that could constitute harassment or that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, racist, harmful or otherwise objectionable.
    2. The Customer may only use this Site for lawful purposes and will not:
      1. use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Site or interfere with any other person's use and enjoyment of the Site;
      2. attempt to gain unauthorised access to any other Reader's or Customer's accounts, computer systems or networks associated with the Site; or
      3. obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Site.
  6. Representations and Warranties.
    1. Each Customer warrants that:
      1. the Customer has the power and authority to enter into and perform its obligations under this Agreement;
      2. this constitutes Customer's binding obligation, enforceable against it in accordance with its terms.
  7. Disclaimer
    1. No warranty, express or implied, is made with respect to Lifereader, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Lifereader does not warrant that the functions offered by Lifereader will meet the Customer's requirements, or will operate in the manner desired by the Customer or that the Site will be error free, or free from unauthorised intrusion.
    2. Lifereader is not responsible for the truth, accuracy, completeness, safety, timeliness, quality, appropriateness, legality or applicability of anything said or written during any Advice Session or through the Services in general. The Customer will not hold Lifereader responsible for the acts or omissions of any Reader.
    3. Lifereader will not, under any circumstances, be liable to a Customer or any other person for any special, incidental, consequential, or other damages resulting from the use of the Site, including reliance by any person on information obtained through the Site, virus transmission, or deletion or loss of files or e-mail, loss of data or information of any kind, loss of profit, or liability to third parties, however caused, whether by the act or negligence of Lifereader or otherwise.
  8. Indemnity The Customer releases and indemnifies Lifereader against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses), losses, proceedings damages, liabilities or demands suffered or incurred by Lifereader in connection with the Customer's failure to comply with this Agreement.
  9. Miscellaneous
    1. The Site is controlled, operated and administered by Life Com Limited trading as Lifereader in Auckland, New Zealand. The Site can be accessed across New Zealand, and overseas. As each country has laws that may differ from those of New Zealand, the Customer acknowledges that this Agreement is governed under the laws of New Zealand and submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts.
    2. If Lifereader is required to issue proceedings to enforce any of its rights, or to collect any fees, the Customer will reimburse Lifereader for its legal fees, costs and disbursements.
    3. Lifereader may change this Agreement at any time. All changes to the Agreement will be effective from the date they are changed. The Customer's continued use of the Site will constitute the Customer's acceptance of such changes and the Customer is encouraged to check this Agreement regularly.
    4. Lifereader's failure to insist on strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will not be construed as a waiver of that or any other provision.
    5. If any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
    6. No rights or obligations under this Agreement may be assigned without Lifereader's prior written consent.
    7. Any notice to be given in terms of this Agreement must be in writing made by email transmission sent to the last known email address provided by the Customer on his or her registration details or by the Customer to Any communication by email will be deemed to be received when transmitted to the correct email address of the Customer.
