By Rani: First, we need to understand what forgiving someone entitles. You will need to have the motivation to move on from a situation that did not serve your purpose. In order to do this, you will need to decide if you are ready to forgive this person for the situation they caused. Keep in mind that it is very hard to forgive since the heart does not forget. This is how you can try to find forgiveness for someone who hurt you.
We are not trying to justify their actions. Just remember, you are forgiving them for a reason. If you are forgiving this energy, that does not mean their actions were authentic or sincere. Only someone who truly regrets their actions will change them. Redirecting your path might be a wise decision if this is a repeat offense.
Can you explain why you are choosing to forgive this person? Take into consideration that if this entity acted in a way that was ill-intentioned, you should consider taking the time to think about it. Taking your time will allow you to process the whole situation. After this, the Heart will begin to feel that it has been heard.
Here are a few reasons why you should forgive. They’re all about you! You are the only one who will be freed by your forgiveness!
If you feel angry, confused, or hurt, you want to get rid of those feelings.
The relationship you have with them is precious to you, and you believe they are worth fighting for
There has been an indication that they are willing to change their behavior, and you are willing to give it a second chance.
Give someone only as many chances as necessary. Perhaps you should be a little lenient once or twice. I strongly recommend you reconsider this if they continue to intentionally harm you. Protect your energy and future by taking steps to protect yourself. Your current actions will have a profound effect on your future. Here is a simple example of how you can forgive someone and not someone else.
It is possible to forgive someone’s abusive behavior if they are physically, mentally, and spiritually changing. As opposed to someone continuing their abusive behavior and physically harming you, you should attempt to break away from such relationships.
It must be your intention to do this. In order to heal from this matter you need to forgive this person, not force yourself to do so. Therefore, remember that forgiving them does not guarantee them a place in your life.
Process all aspects of the trauma you’ve experienced. You can do this by expressing your feelings through art, telling your story to others, and writing down your experiences. Regardless of what you decide, make sure you take the time to consider what is right for you.
