By Ann:<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span> Unconditional love is one of the purest forms of love a person can offer another. <\/p>\n

It is a love that does not come with a list of expectations, a set of conditions, or demands for someone to become who we want them to be. It allows another person the freedom to discover themselves, make mistakes, learn from their experiences, and grow into the person they are meant to become. True unconditional love is not about control; it is about understanding, patience, compassion, and believing in someone, even when their journey takes longer than we might have hoped.<\/p>\n

Imagine love as a blank piece of paper. When we first offer that paper to another person, it should be free from labels, judgements, expectations, and conditions. There should be no fine print hidden in the corners, no rules written across the page, and no demands that must be met before love can be given. It is simply a blank page, offering the opportunity for something beautiful to be written through shared experiences, understanding, honesty, and time.<\/p>\n

Too often, people place labels on love. They define what it should look like, how quickly it should develop, what another person should do, and when certain things should happen. They measure love through expectations, believing that if someone truly loves them, they should behave in a particular way or reach a certain point within a particular timeframe. <\/p>\n

But love cannot always be measured by a clock, nor can it be forced into a shape that satisfies our personal expectations. Every person has their own experiences, fears, lessons, and emotional challenges to work through. Sometimes, the greatest expression of love is allowing another person the space to work through those challenges without adding pressure to their journey.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, waiting is not the absence of love; it is love in its most patient and selfless form.<\/p>\n

When we choose to wait for someone because we genuinely care about them, we are giving them something precious: the opportunity to work things out in their own time. We are showing them that our feelings are not dependent on immediate results, instant answers, or the fulfilment of our expectations. We are allowing them the space to think, reflect, understand, and make choices that come from a place of genuine conviction rather than fear or pressure.<\/p>\n
