By Tammy:<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span> There are seasons in life when we simply don’t know what comes next. <\/p>\n

A relationship may feel uncertain, work may be changing, or you may find yourself standing at a crossroads, wondering which direction to take.<\/p>\n

When we don’t have clear answers, it is very easy to become caught up in the noise of our own thoughts. We replay conversations, look for signs, question our decisions, and sometimes become so focused on trying to predict the future that we lose connection with what we are feeling in the present.<\/p>\n

This is often when our intuition is trying to get our attention.<\/p>\n

Intuition isn’t always dramatic. It can be a quiet knowing, a feeling in your body, a thought that keeps returning, or even a sense of peace when something simply feels right. At other times, it may be that little feeling that tells you something isn’t quite aligned, even though you cannot logically explain why.<\/p>\n

The challenge is learning to distinguish that inner knowing from fear. Fear tends to create urgency and endless questions, while intuition can feel much quieter. It doesn’t always give you all the answers; sometimes, it simply nudges you towards the next step.<\/p>\n

This is one of the reasons tarot can be such a powerful tool for reflection.<\/p>\n

When I work with tarot, I don’t see the cards as something that takes away our free will or dictates exactly what our future will be. Instead, they can bring something beneath the surface into our awareness. A card may reflect an emotion we haven’t acknowledged, a pattern we keep repeating, an opportunity we haven’t recognised, or something we may need to release before we can move forward.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, the most valuable part of a reading isn’t hearing what is going to happen, but understanding why we are experiencing something the way we are.<\/p>\n

Think about the cards we often turn to when life feels uncertain.<\/p>\n

The Hermit reminds us that answers aren’t always found by asking everyone else what we should do; sometimes, we need to become quiet enough to hear our own wisdom.<\/p>\n

The Hanged Man can appear when we are being asked to pause and see a situation from another perspective rather than forcing an outcome.<\/p>\n

The Star reminds us that difficult chapters don’t last forever, while The Fool invites us to trust a new beginning even when we cannot see the entire path ahead.<\/p>\n

There is something deeply comforting about remembering that we don’t have to know the whole journey.<\/p>\n

We often want certainty before we are willing to move. We want to know whether someone will stay, whether a relationship will work, whether the opportunity we are hoping for will arrive, or exactly when our circumstances will change.<\/p>\n

Those questions are completely natural, especially when our hearts are involved. But sometimes, the desire to know the outcome becomes so strong that we stop listening to what life is asking of us right now.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the question isn’t:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is going to happen?\u201d<\/p>\n

but:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do I need to understand at this point in my journey?\u201d<\/p>\n

That small shift can change everything.<\/p>\n

It brings us back to ourselves and reminds us that we still have choices. We may not control another person’s behaviour, the timing of an opportunity, or the way circumstances unfold, but we can choose how we respond.<\/p>\n

We can decide what we are willing to accept, where we place our energy, which patterns we are ready to leave behind, and what feels genuinely aligned with who we are becoming.<\/p>\n

Our energy can also tell us a great deal.<\/p>\n

Pay attention to how you feel after spending time with certain people or in certain situations. Some connections leave you feeling expanded, peaceful, and more like yourself. Others may leave you continually questioning your worth or feeling emotionally drained.<\/p>\n

Not every uncomfortable feeling is necessarily a spiritual warning\u2014sometimes growth itself is uncomfortable\u2014but becoming aware of these energetic responses can help you recognise where you are nourishing yourself and where you may be abandoning your own needs.<\/p>\n

And sometimes, what feels like a delay is actually part of the guidance.<\/p>\n

We can become frustrated when something isn’t happening as quickly as we hoped, but life doesn’t always unfold according to our preferred timetable. <\/p>\n

A closed door may redirect you.<\/p>\n

A period of waiting may give you clarity.<\/p>\n

An ending may create space for something that couldn’t have entered your life while you were still holding onto the past.<\/p>\n

If you are currently standing in a place of uncertainty, you don’t have to force yourself to have all the answers.<\/p>\n

Take a step back from the noise and give yourself a little space to listen.<\/p>\n

Notice what keeps coming back into your awareness.<\/p>\n

Notice what brings a sense of peace and what continually leaves you feeling disconnected from yourself.<\/p>\n

Ask what you are being invited to learn, rather than only asking what you are going to receive.<\/p>\n

Your intuition may not reveal the entire road ahead. More often, it gives you enough light to take the next step.<\/p>\n

And perhaps that is all you need.<\/p>\n

Because sometimes, the guidance we are searching for isn’t waiting somewhere outside of us. It has been quietly present all along\u2014in our feelings, our energy, our dreams, our intuition, and those little moments of knowing we so often dismiss.<\/p>\n

The journey isn’t always about discovering what the future holds.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, it is about becoming still enough to hear yourself again, trusting what you already know, and having the courage to follow where that inner guidance leads.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
