By Sue:<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span> Often we get stuck in cycles we don\u2019t want to be in, we are not enjoying them, yet we seem to be unable to lift ourselves out and into a life we want to live. We don\u2019t understand why we can\u2019t seem to stop having bad luck or bad events in our lives, attracting people that are bad for us\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

The first step is understanding that we <\/span>can bring about change<\/span><\/i>. We <\/span>can<\/span><\/i> start filling our lives with the energy of whom and what we want in it. In fact <\/span>only we<\/span><\/i> can do this. Waiting for others to change is a waste of time and energy and it keeps us in a victim mentality. Others are not in control of our lives. Self-empowerment is about recognizing where we give our power away, and taking responsibility for our own lives and the people and events we allow in them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Many believe that the Universe wants our life to be the way it is so that we will learn a lesson, and once we learn that lesson, life will magically change. But, could it be that when we finally get tired of things, we vow to do them differently and then life changes as a result of the change within us. Our outer life reflects the inner change. With awareness, we can shortcut this process and bypass a lot of the painful events. We can stop <\/span>waiting<\/span><\/i> for life to change and take responsibility for <\/span>creating<\/span><\/i> what we want.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Universe\/life simply mirrors the energies we are sending out. If we want to create change in our life, we need to change our vibration, bring in and express more love, more light, and then watch as our external life reflects the positive changes within. I am not talking about affirmations here, they are mental activity and often they create an argument within you. You say \u201cI love my life\u201d and your mind picks up the conversation saying \u2013 \u201cwell I don\u2019t like this and I don\u2019t like that, but\u2026blah blah blah\u201d. It takes you out of the space you are trying to enter. I\u2019m talking about feeling more and thinking less.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some ways to get started with this are to go somewhere naturally beautiful and immerse yourself in that beauty. Listen to music that makes you aware of the beauty of life. As you do these things, find and connect with your own incredibly loving energy and breathe deeply. Breathe it right into you and embrace it. Allow it to become part of you. Don\u2019t <\/span>think<\/span><\/i> about how beautiful it is, breathe deeply and <\/span>feel<\/span><\/i> it. Allow yourself to bypass the mind for that period of time, just feel the beauty alive within and around you, <\/span>become<\/span><\/i> the loving energy that you feel.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you can truly open to this frequency of love, and let your mind be quiet, you may find yourself filling with such gratitude for simply being who you are, and being able to feel what you feel, that it moves you to tears. Because like attracts like, imagine the frequency or vibration of the people and events that feeling this much love and light within you is going to draw into your life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Physical life is a creator\u2019s playground. We come and we create what we think and feel. In every moment of life we create without knowing it. You may say you are unable to create something great\u2026but the fact is you have successfully created what you <\/span>don\u2019t<\/span><\/i> want \u2013 you just need to recognize that and begin to create what you <\/span>do<\/span><\/i> want. <\/span>Once we understand that <\/span><\/i>we<\/span><\/i> are the artist creating our own life, everything becomes possible.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Allow me to guide you along the path of leaving behind the life you don\u2019t want, and creating the beautiful life that you do want. It may even be that life as you know it has already begun to collapse. This is a message telling you that there is something better calling out to you. Once your soul decides it is time, there is nothing you can do but embrace change.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are ready to become an active participant in your life, to shift your focus from \u2013 \u201cwhat is ahead for me?\u201d to \u201cwhat do I want my life to be?\u201d Let’s start a journey of self-empowerment like no other.<\/span><\/p>\n
