By Kirsty:<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span> Very recently I lost a close friend and family member. This beautiful lady was 56 years young. I don\u2019t think I have ever been so shocked by such sad news. My beautiful friend died suddenly and unexpectedly. It took me quite some time to process and come to terms with her passing. Whilst having to support my <\/span>family, I had my own personal grief.<\/span><\/p>\n

I rarely question my faith and beliefs, but  no matter how hard I tried, I struggled to make sense of this tragedy. I talk to people every day that are grieving and unable to cope with the heavy burden they  are carrying.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Quite recently before my friend passed, we had an in-depth conversation about death and reincarnation. I told her that before we reincarnate, we choose where, when and who with. Depending on many factors, such as <\/span>karma, evolution and lessons that the soul needs. I also went on to explain that even when we feel a lifetime is cut short, it was always planned to be that way. As hard as that is for the loved ones left behind, it is the absolute truth. My friend looked at me across the dinner table and said, \u201cI totally believe what  you are saying, and it makes perfect sense\u201d.<\/em> Little did I know that that would be our last ever meeting. And in fact, the end of her current life was literally days away.  <\/span><\/p>\n

This subject is so hard for many, I am always asked \u201cWhy would anyone choose that life, or that death?\u201d.<\/em> It’s utterly heart-breaking for those left behind, trying to go on without that person. The mere fact that someone would choose to die this way or pass at that age seems hideous and beyond belief. Many people still are unable to accept this and that anyone would choose this. I explain to people that if they are able to try and understand and think of this being true, then they will find some peace and understanding.  <\/span><\/p>\n

What is also very important to know is that the ones left behind have always been a part of the story and would be aware of that before they too  incarnated. So, although the conscious mind cannot conceive such  overwhelming insight, it is very much there in the subconscious. To put this in  simple terms, you would have already been made aware that this person would pass when they did before you incarnated. Therefore, agreeing to be present in this person\u2019s life and part of their story, knowing that their passing  would cause you such pain and heartache.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Coming back to me, I agreed to be a part of my friend\u2019s life, knowing that she would pass young, and that she would leave a trail of broken hearts behind, mine being one of them. Recalling my beliefs and my conversation with Sue <\/span>really has helped me to come to terms with her passing. Some people are only  ever on loan to us, and all we can do is love and cherish every second of the time we get to spend with them. Tomorrow is never promised, so make up with your family, talk to your friend, message your annoying mum, because you may never get a chance again. <\/span><\/p>\n
