The Five Signs Of Chinese Philosophy

There is five elements to Chinese philosophy, these are used to help describe the interactions and relationships between things. In Buddhism readings, which Suzie provides, these elements corresponded with your personality and personal relationships. Depending on which year, date and month you are born too, you will have certain characteristics, which will be ideally matched up to someone else’s characteristics.

Just as in regular, mainstream astrology, we have complete opposites, people who we will get along with nicely with and people we will clash with. The Chinese zodiac is not different in this respect to the western astrology, however the eastern astrology is comprised on the 12 signs revolving around animals and have a different yearly cycle to the western astrology. Unlike western astrology, Chinese astrology doesn’t change for you each year, your chart remains with you for life. The only changes that will affect your chart is how you may react in a certain year with your personality, wealth and health, or your compatibility with a partner.

In Chinese astrology, each of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs is connected with one of the five elements, which is known as the fixed element of the sign and each sign is associated with a season and a colour and a compass direction, below are the associated Fixed Chinese Zodiac signs:

Fixed sign element Wood: Tiger, Rabbit
Fixed sign element Fire: Snake, Horse
Fixed sign element Earth: Ox, Dragon, Goat, Dog
Fixed sign element Metal: Monkey, Roster
Fixed sign element Water: Pig, Rat

For example if your sign is the Tiger, your element is Wood. Wood energy is in the east, ideally buying a house that faces east or even doing prayers in the eastern direction will bring you luck. It can enhance your wealth, health and longevity. The colour associated with the Wood element is green, so having a green front door, or put a green plant in the east should bring yourself good luck.
